The PRS Invites Fans on a Field Trip

Now it's your turn to investigate the paranormal with the PRS. On May 30th to June 1st 2008, fans of "Paranormal State" can join the cast for a "Field Trip" weekend in Smithtown, New York at Katie's Bar on Long Island, featured in the episode "Beer, Wine and Spirits." Having been on a paranormal retreat before, I can say this: it's not your typical vacation. Judging by the lineup of speakers and events that the PRS has arranged for that weekend, it's no wonder that the 100 original tickets have already sold out. There's currently a waiting list, but the PRS has decided to expand the number of tickets available for fans at some point in the near future.
If you go, here's what to expect:
On the night of Friday, May 30, ticket holders will arrive at Katie's Bar to meet Ryan Buell, Eilfie Music, Heather Taddy, Sergey Poberezhny, Katrina Weidman, Chip Coffey, Lorraine Warren and "Big Brian," owner of the bar. Attendants can drink and chat with their favorite cast members as well as other fans of the show. Hopefully the ghost of Katie's Bar has left enough stemware to go around.
On Saturday, May 31, Lorraine Warren will give a presentation at the hotel (hotel has yet to be announced). Warren has been investigating the realm of the supernatural for over 50 years and has made several appearances on the show. Afterward, Chip Coffey will also give a presentation. Coffey has also appeared on episodes of "Paranormal State," employing his psychic abilities for the benefit of investigations. Then Buell and fellow cast members of "Paranormal State" will talk about episodes from the show in detail, discuss their experiences on and off the show and answer questions from the audience. Later that evening guests can receive psychic readings and have photos taken with their favorite cast members. Directly following, attendants will sit down to a catered dinner with the stars of "Paranormal State" at Katie's Bar. Late that night, guests will experience and participate in a real investigation and hunt for Charlie, the ghost that allegedly haunts the restaurant. The PRS is currently considering the addition of a second investigation.
On the morning of Sunday, June 1, guests will share brunch with the cast before departing.

The cost of this event is $175 and does not include lodging or food. The catered dinner is included in the ticket price.
