The Philadelphia Experiment

What became known as "The Philadelphia Experiment" began with a book published in 1955 called The Expanding Case for the UFO. This book was never famous for its topic but for the events that followed its release. The author, Morris Jessup, was an astronomer, Michigan University graduate and professor and UFO researcher. In January of 1956 Jessup received a letter from a "Carl Allen" who also called himself Carlos Miguel Allende. This and subsequent letters referred to Jessup's work but turned to an incident having to do with the US Navy. According to the letter, the US Navy had conducted a top-secret experiment in October of 1943. The result, according to Allen, was the total invisibility and teleportation of a US destroyer. Allen asserted that the experiment was an application of Einstein's Unified Fields Theory.
Allen claimed that in 1943, while he was aboard the USS Andrew Furuseth near Norfolk, Virginia, the U.S.S. Eldridge suddenly appeared out of thin air but remained partially shrouded by a spherical green fog. After several minutes the ship disappeared. According to a Philadelphia newspaper, Allen claimed, observers at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard witnessed the opposite — a ship disappeared and then came back again. He actually claims that the ship was teleported from Philadelphia to Norfolk in a matter of 15 minutes.
Allen continued to report strange incidents regarding the experiment's effects on the crewmen of the disappearing ship. One of them apparently vanished in the middle of a bar fight and another fused with a wall in front of his family. Others fused with parts of the ship. Many were hospitalized. Allen affirmed that the alleged experiment went so awry that it was shut down three years later.
Jessup did not quite believe Allen's strange claims and requested evidence for the incident. Allen's reply came on May 25th 1956 but did not provide any evidence. Besides the lack of proof, Allen's letters were strewn with capitalized words, rambling sentences, seemingly scientific theories with illogical deductions. Jessup dropped the matter and did not pay any further attention to the story. However, Jessup was later contacted by the Office of Naval Research. A package containing Jessup's book, heavily annotated by an unknown person was received in Washington D.C. Jessup identified the writing as belonging to Allen.
Jessup committed suicide in 1959. Several friends of Jessup believe that he was driven to suicide due to his knowledge of the Philadelphia Experiment, while others assert that he was seriously depressed and talking about suicide several months prior.
Known for sure is that the Navy did conduct experiments in the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard during October of 1943 in an attempt to create a ship that could not be detected by magnetic mines. The tests were called "Project Rainbow." The Navy admits that the U.S.S. Eldridge took part in this experiment. However, the Navy asserts that wire was wrapped around the hull of the destroyer in an attempt to cancel out the magnetic fields of the metal ship. This would render the ship "invisible" target="_blank">to underwater magnetic mines that rely on the sensing of magnetic fields to trigger detonation. Without the magnetic field, the ship would get through regions mined with these sensors.
Some scientists have suggested that the ship may have been equipped with high-frequency generators that would cause the ship to heat up to such an extent that a mirage would form and the ship would essentially disappear. In fact, this mirrors a naturally occurring phenomenon. The heat could also reach the water and air and create the green fog that Allen reported to have seen. High-frequency generators also cause physical and mental illness in close-range individuals. While this theory sounds plausible, it does not explain the claims of teleportation or the claims of crewman fusing with parts of the ship or disappearing altogether and never returning. The more extreme theory holds that the experiment was able to bend space and time resulting in the unfortunate consequences to the crewmen.
The majority of people, however, regard the Philadelphia Experiment as an all-out hoax.

New pieces of knowledge
I gradually found in further research that the phenomenon that I describe as “Cosmic energy” is actually static electricity. Although static electricity is a known phenomenon, it hasn’t been totally explored yet. The effects of static electricity are found in many industrial places as well as other totally different surroundings.
It isn’t possible to properly identify static electricity even that the consequences of an electrostatic discharge are easily observed. Static electricity is an electric discharge caused by an imbalance of electrons on a surface of a material. Therefore, the description “static” is not appropriate. It doesn’t mean inaction, but it actually points to forces imposed by unchanging electric field on charged objects. Also, the name electricity is misleading. Both “electricities” have different properties.
The imbalance of surface charge shows that objects feel attractive or repulsive forces. It is known that static electricity is caused by friction of different materials. This piece of knowledge inspired me to observe and do research with water quells and other water streams. In this way I found properties of static electricity that had been unknown.
These are three energetic parts – aura, zones and interzones. These are described in the article called “diagrams”. Yet unexplained energy of a field is caused by water flow and it’s friction with rock; it’s immeasurable with available measuring devices and metres. This energy goes through the surface of the earth and penetrates metals, concrete and also other hardly penetrable materials. The charge that is transferred by electrified contact is stored on the surface of every object. And the greater it’s surface, the greater charge could be stored on it.
I am aware that everything that I have published and will describe is only a small hint towards what needs to be explored. As an example I can write about findings from the experiments with groups of capacitors. The first finding is the fact that their charges have three energetic parts and these parts may be altered by changing the charge stored on the capacitors. I have further found that that by the contact of auras of more capacitors, a common aura is formed, whose volume is equal to the sum of volumes of auras of the individual capacitors. However, this is not true in all cases. Why – I don’t know yet.
In the same way as capacitors, every matter has its own charge and by the contact of auras the charges spontaneously equalise. However, this is not everything. Every matter has its specific chemical properties and by the contact of auras of different matters, different chemical properties are caused. Could we imagine the astronomical number of combinations that comes out?
Nothing that is stated here is made up. I just copy the knowledge of engineers that built Stonehenge and other megalithic structures. Nobody will doubt the existence of static electricity in the ancient times and therefore we have to look at megalithic structures in this way as well.
The most important piece of knowledge found in my research is the fact that it’s possible to alter the charge on cellular membranes of organisms by the use of capacitors. It is also applicable in this case that the energy transferred could be chemically changed as needed. I won’t describe this effect in detail because it may be misused.
The research of cosmic energy could be faster if sceptics stop doubting its existence and pointing away from its further research in this way.
