Our Houseguest

I have a "houseguest" living with my family and me. His name is Richard. He killed himself in my daughter's bedroom three months before we moved in. Come to find out I had also worked with his ex-girlfriend. I had been noticing things going on before I new the whole story. I felt a strange presence in the house when I came to look at it, before we moved in. It was not a bad feeling, it was actually a comforting one. My husband has a job that on occasion takes him away from home during the week. At night [our ghost] will come and sit on my bed, and will play with my hair or my ear. I can feel the weight of him at the foot of the bed. When my husband and I have an argument, he is around to comfort me.
He is also quite playful, he has hidden candlesticks holders, his ex-girlfriend has told me that he loved candles, especially during their intimate times. He has also been known to turn lights on and off. There has also been times that he has banged my daughter's bedroom doors together. My husband has caught his image on the webcam that he had set up for motion detection; unfortunately, this image was accidentally erased. I feel quite at ease when he is active. The reason that he had killed himself is due to the fact that my friend, his ex, refused to reconcile their differences. I love him and I do not feel as if he is a threat to either myself or my family. I want him to stay. My husband wants him to stay as well.

This is a perfect example of a disaster waiting to happen. You can bet the next installment in this story is very very bad. There are no ghosts, only demons (fallen angels) who hate anything God loves, especially people. The Bible say the dead are dead, not in heaven not in hell and certainly not hanging out in your bathroom. This is a counterfit by a devil spirit. This woman will be manipulated or harrassed by this demon if she insists on foolishly playing with fire. The advisary walks the earth like a lion looking to see whom he may devour. If you have no spiritual strength
(not working the manifestations of the Holy Spirit)don't mess with demons.

Robert - I am sorry to inform you that your opinion is based upon things you have been taught by organized religion in order to control its members. There is no basis for your view other than that. Read your own comment again and it sounds like the Spanish Inquisition from the middle ages.
People have good and bad souls - it does not matter if they are dead or alive - the souls are the true person. A pure soul would not harm anyone else.
I wish you would research things more before regurgitating things that you have only been told - not that you know from personal experience. I know who I believe and it isn't a human being.

Linda, I just felt that your agressive negative comment should be answered. I have never been a part of any organized religion. My knowledge comes from reading the Bible, the original source for man's understanding and knowledge of what a soul is. now you might have a different opinion, but opinions are like.... well you know, everyone has one. I on the other hand have no opinion to put forth, I just have an understanding of spiritual matters, there is good and evil, athough evil wants you to believe that it doesn't exist. but it does and it loves to confuse people with the idea that dead people aren't really dead but have nothing better to do than to play with candelsticks. But i will not cloud the issue with "put downs" or any other silliness. The place where all of us originally got the idea of a soul is the Bible, and the Bible says the dead are dead. Not in heaven not in hell and again not in your bathroom. the next act in man's drama begins for everyman at the same time. Peter is not working as a doorman at some pearly gates.When christ returns the dead will rise, all the dead. Then the next act will commence. Until then the only spiritual beings who would be hanging around trying to play with your head would be "Fallen angels" Demons, and your not believing in them doesn't change the reality of their existence.
